Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Pijjirik alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Stableman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Stableman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Stableman and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: To be a Laborer again.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Spy kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She wears dull green sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed nunchaku, just in case. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her blue crest is heavily combed to the left. Her eyes are gold.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Antrara was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Antrara decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears professional attire. Her long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Tervaround isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. Tervaround enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and a rival would like her out of the picture
