Personality: Mara is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has achieved small success as a Locksmith.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He carries with him a set of ceremonial daggers on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. He has done his best to style his lavender fur to look like a famous performer. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jade fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Varis isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
