History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Tawna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Tawna abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stylist for hire.

History: The child of a Mercenary, who enjoyed hunting, Valafar was taken on many hunting expeditions. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
