Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. Kerkad is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the north. Kerkad was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Gifted from a young age, Katherine studied abroad. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
