Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He takes great joy in being the best Bookbinder in town.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Patrin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Patrin. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is auburn and curly. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: She wears long strands of sapphire and short blue dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and she perpetually has her flail ready. Her brown hair is singed and shortened. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: 5'10" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She has gray fur. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Being a Bounty Hunter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.
