He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born in the south. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Mardred hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
