History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a Painter soon after.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Phann was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Phann's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Glassblower. Recently the stress of being a Glassblower has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Glassblower responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to protect her home

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he prefers to wear yellow clothing when he does not wear armor. His hair is short and golden. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Lucan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Human compassion; and doesn't want to be a dyer and was forced into it by his family
