History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Akta was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Akta decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. She's also a talented Knight, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and balancing her hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. Her brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugolina embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugolina grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After months of barely getting by, Hugolina managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: Veit speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Adelaide embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Adelaide and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
