History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Elysande was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A freak accident while working with his Shoemaker mother left him crippled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.
