History: Born to a Stableman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Ar-Pratu liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears dull red sweaters, loose pastel pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed shield, just in case. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to end her boredom

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Eggren's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Eggren has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Personality: Merla wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... A friendly and beautiful Halfling, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is greedy.
