History: Born in the west to a Gardener, Serpent learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts
