Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman usually wears her black robe and has her sai always slung over her shoulder, and a wedding ring on her left hand. She keeps her black hair in a pixie cut. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Ekk was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ekk fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is a Masseuse first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in the south to a Masseuse, Medrash learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
