His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dain was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Merchant.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She tends to her Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and further expansion of business

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a grey vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her grey boots flare out at the collars. Her hair is silver and very short. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
