History: Quarethon was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fisher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. River abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
