History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Berrian is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Glassblower, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born in a small plains village. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
