Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Jarana took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Interpreter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Rose was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her childhood dream was to be a Roofer, but she was a colossal failure. She has achieved small success as a Unemployed.
