History: Matilda was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Gardain is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When Gardain reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Vrondiss was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Armorer. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
