Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a tan vest and prefers brown and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Description: This tall, slender woman has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her copper crest is long and unkept. Her red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hethress grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hethress. After a long history of fighting, Hethress and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Oloric was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He wears an entirely pastel suit with green socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has yellow fur. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Description: She wears a robe, a symbol of her god around her neck, and a bow on her belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'2" when asserting herself. She has wavy silver hair. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Veloptima fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
