History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Through the years after Vaina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Vaina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Mason, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair is thinning but still full. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his feathered white hat.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Tanner business.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and to be a spice merchant again

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Bathin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he loathes his own lifestyle
