His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Thiala was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gennal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
