Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a green coat with brown slacks. His blonde hair and beard is wavy and long. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hobart is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sage. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cartwright.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has shaved his head bald. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: She is an average looking southern female in her early mid-life. She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her fur is cinnamon and very short. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Elegant speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She got into the Sage business at a young age. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She tends to her Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
