He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Balam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Balam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Balam never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Jade was born the youngest of three triplets. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

This search led her directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
