History: Kadana was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Kadana was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Crown-heir. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Description: She is a pot bellied western woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She has dyed her greying yellow fur a little too much giving a sharp yellow color. This copper eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a Dyer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Shivering was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shivering's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shivering and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He is in excellent shape and dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His hair is silver and very short. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Halander hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Halander was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a tan vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his tan boots flare out at the collars. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and he is greedy

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he wears a simple green robe with grey stripes complete with hood. His rusty crest is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are gold and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Salasar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
