History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aust fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Melissa's homeland. Melissa decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Barkeep. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Medrash lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
