History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He became a Bather soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bather responsibilities is difficult; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: River hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
