When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Skirt is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
