History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Personality: He is a Knight first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. When Althaea reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Althaea and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is wracked by social anxiety
