Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Azdûsh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 2. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Gardener for the past few years.

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Rurik reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: An older man who wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, he is not a threatening figure. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bagga grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
