He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. A true patriot, Carlin would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Carlin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lidda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lidda. After months of barely getting by, Lidda managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.
