Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his tan robe. He has wavy red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the east. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Orc, and stands approximately 6'4". He wears bulky white painted plate armor, and his gloved hand is found clutching a hammer. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He takes great joy in being the best Sailor in town.

History: Borgu lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and halfling compassion

Description: This late middle aged woman has the majority of her body covered in plate and is in decent physical shape. Her brown hair is cut short. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a grey coat. Her head has been shaved. Her fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull tan iron scale mail. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Vassago was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vassago grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vassago. Being a Knight kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
