History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Ootah was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ootah fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and balancing his hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult
