History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This younger middle-aged man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He has auburn hair. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Umpen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites.
