Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Crown-heir but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Roofer.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Humans. Her skin is light but she possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. She wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. She has no hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Agatha abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
