When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Mason.

Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
