History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a layabout and was forced into it by his family

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a bricklayer and was forced into it by her family

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Gerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Syllin hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Syllin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
