Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lavinia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born in the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a beggar and was forced into it by his family

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a morningstar, but if one is not available she will default to her mace. Her black hair is braided into rings. She has gleaming, smiling red eyes.

Personality: She is a Sage first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sage for the past few years.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and sabotage a competitor
