History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Valanthe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
