He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has no hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sora was born the youngest of three triplets. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He prefers to wear blue clothing when he does not wear armor. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Animal Trainer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Animal Trainer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
