History: Astaro was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bune was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
