History: Crampernap lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Description: An older man who wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat, he is not a threatening figure. His fur is white and very short. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Silent embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Jeweler for hire.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and sabotage a competitor

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to protect his home
