Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mantus was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Actor, but he was a colossal failure. After a long history of fighting, Mantus and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the west to a Bather, Nuraval learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bather.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bather responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears a yellow coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon her head. Her silver hair is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Being a Baker kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. She sports a flattop hair cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Ida is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and doesn't want to be a masseuse and was forced into it by her family
