History: Born in the west to a Ruler, Giselle learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born in the south. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Crown-heir for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she tends to wear a large grey jacket. Her black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her violet eyes.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Morana was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Galiena was born with her father's beautiful face. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to pay off her debts

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and to reunite with her old friends
