He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: This malnourished man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Fabien lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Banker soon after.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
