Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mardred is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He likes to wear green tank tops with tan pants. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in the west to a Mason, Kairon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This younger middle-aged man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He has shaved his head bald. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
