History: Kathra hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Kathra's homeland. Kathra decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Kathra never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Description: An older man who wears a black shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and grey pants, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are likewise red. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her head has been shaved. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Chenna is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by her family

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. She has dyed her greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. Her white eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Mastema isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Tiefling unity. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Mastema was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

He prefers to carry a longbow, but if one is not available he will default to his trident. His brass crest is heavily combed to the left. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
