History: Vorka was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Jak hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is content

History: Ar-Gul lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
