Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for her, and Verin does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Verin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Kugáluga hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
