Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student she started as a Gardener, but she got bored and became a Spice Merchant. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Barbena took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor she uses now. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
