Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Description: This late middle aged man wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat and is in decent physical shape. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Brewer, but he got bored and became a Guard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is wearing a long, green cloak. His hair is blue and curly. His eyes are gold and catlike.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Melech was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melech grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melech. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gimurt never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.
