History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ermina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ermina. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Mastema lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Adventurer mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
